Bluewave Application Process


Before Bluewave can actively seek work for you in schools, we are bound by law to ensure that you have been thoroughly vetted and credentialed via a three part process:

  1. Verify your Qualifications and Experience
  2. Carry out a List 99 and CRB check
  3. Face-To-Face Interview

Our aim is to get you out to work as soon as possible so we require the following documentation - all of which can be uploaded via our website upon registration.


  1. Current & Up-to-date Curriculum Vitae
  2. Minimum of two written references plus the Names & Email address for 2 nominated referees. If you are newly qualified then we require copies of your teaching practicum reports. (In the instance of a break in your career, we will require Character references to cover these absences)
  3. CRB check in accordance with DCSF guidelines
  4. Qualification check
  5. Eligibility to work in the UK / visa check
  6. Fitness to teach declaration
  7. Identification check
  8. CV gaps / career breaks
